A few months ago me and my Dad went on a hiking trip to California. It was a fun trip we climbed the tallest mtn in the us round trip hike was 21 miles. (oh and btw the mtn is called mount Whitney, ya I know Whitney doesn't sound intimidating like mount Kilimanjaro or I like to say kill a man jaro but Whitney was still ruff) and here's some pics.
we started at about 2am, and we hiked about 3hour by the first pic and we where at base camp. 5miles till summit 16 miles till we make it back down to were we started.

We hiked another hour or so to get to the snow chute

After a long strenuous push up the snow chute we had hiked about 9miles, it was 9am and we lost a lot of time in the chute. We still had enough time to reach summit before lunch. 2 miles to summit 12 miles back to the car.

And finely 21miles latter were there on top of the us at 14,500feet.
Pics just don't do it justice as to how beautiful it really is up there or how hard or long the hike was.
